Yes you can there's a fee i believe and some paperwork you have to fill out basically surrendering your rights

Most, if not all, SPCA shelters across the US will allow an individual to surrender their pet(s); however, there may be a fee required per pet surrendered. With that said, I would strongly recommend utilizing social media and online resources to find the puppy a direct home, whether permanent or fostered... While this may speed up the process, you may not have the time needed to do so, especially when making sure a potential home is healthy and safe. If so, I suggest simply contacting the Providence Animal Center via phone, or email if necessary, to get the specific information you are looking for.
