Call Providence and follow the prompts to "surrender" the cat. You have to fill out paperwork and such when you arrive with the cat. They will tell you when you can come to surrender the cat. Since the virus is going on, you will have to wait in your car probably. Does that help you? I know you said you don't have a car, maybe you could find someone to give you a ride or take an Uber or lyft, idk but you would probably need a car to get there. Unless the shelter is willing to come pick up the animal somehow, someway. There's these people that come and pick up cats that my mom knows, they rescue them and will come and pick them up.
