Gone With The Wind was not filmed at Boone Hall Plantation nor any other place in the Charleston area. However, as one response indicates, the artistic set designers for the movie did visit the plantation and use the Avenue of Oaks as inspiration for some of the set designs used for the movie. Beyonce was not filmed in a movie at Boone Hall. Maybe that has been confused with actress Halle Berry being filmed at Boone Hall for parts of the miniseries "Queen" which was a sequel to the the famous TV miniseries "Roots."
