Today at the Waters Edge I had a meal that can at best be described as disappointing. Due to travel schedules the group I was with met for an early dinner so we ordered off the early bird menu. Starting with a Blueberry Mule cocktail that was flat, and proved very adept at hiding even a hint of ginger beer. The Chicken Marsala that I was served looked to be an under cooked pale piece of chicken that by appearance never came into contact with a frying pan. It was served in what tasted and looked like bottled chicken gravy with what appeared to be canned mushrooms. Some others at the table ordered the Prime Rib special that proved remarkably successful at resisting both being cut or chewed. All in all almost everyone at the table left disappointed.

Beautiful setting we set on the porch that is air conditioned and the food was a little spicy for me but LOL the menu did say spicy but I didn't think that it would be that spicy but my friend who likes spicy food loved it and the waitress was a very nice Mexican young lady and this is a very nice restaurant with nice ambience.. they void your parking so that's good when you eat there and also when I left there I took the boardwalk out to the marshes and out into the water to appear and it was a good little walk but it was absolutely beautiful this is a great spot to rent a little motel or something right next to the water there in Shem Creek or else go to Sullivan island or Isle of Palm or a couple of other Islands nearby there in Charleston that are only about 10-15 minutes away but they are beautiful beaches. You can see Charleston in a day day and a half really the architecture and stuff but I don't think it's worth renting a hotel in Charleston like we did I think you're better off staying on Isle of Palm for one of the other Islands or beaches nearby that are very close and then you can drive to Charleston and then come back to the hotel where it's Serene and a beautiful view of the water and Marshes.... Definitely recommend it and I recommend this restaurant. There was even a floating gazebos that you can take a tour on it was just really nice

The Food was fantastic prepared faster than expected. Sitting near the water was awesome. Our waitress was very timely and knowledgeable.

I read some reviews about this restaurant and was hesitant however I have been there before and the food service was good. Tonight the service and the food was out of this world… Delicious. If you get a chance to try their paella, do it!

Yes. Please call not sure if they are booked up yet or not. There is always seating in cabana bar. First come serve. You can get the full menu though.
I would suggest calling Water's Edge. Prices are changing and sometimes it's best if you call directly. My best. Stephen
According to their web site, their last reservation is at 7:45pm Christmas eve. You may want to make that reservation soon. It appears they book very quickly.
No
I believe it is the same hours as the restaurant.
Yes they do

Yes
Yes they do. Call ahead for it. Very popular.
No reservations needed for lunch. Maybe at night. You'll love the food.
Ronnie Boals has had as many as 4 restaurants on Shem Creek and, of course, RB's is still there, but across the creek. Not sure of the original use of the Waters Edge building per se.
yes they do.
