Beautiful- loved getting to see the house and ride the wagon around the plantation to learn about what they grow and harvest. There was also a wedding that was getting set up so it was beautiful getting to see that get set up. Overall a fun experience!

Very few. Benches at the ends of the slave house row, at the tractor pull loading area, at the restaurant and in the mansion tour waiting area, if I recall correctly.

Yes, but only a small portion of it, only a couple of rooms on the 1st floor. The family still uses the house for vacation, so much of it is blocked off. It was very disappointing.
Not necessarily. You can have your tickets at the gate too.
Trolley has easy access on & off. Not sure @3 steps but there is 1 up to the floor of each trolley.
Hi- there’s a cafe there that has little gifts- not a lot but a few items!

We are closed on Thanksgiving Day but are open regular hours on the following Friday-Saturday-Sunday and regular tour days and hours moving forward. Thanks for the inquiry. The number of visitors varies from year to year, but should be such that our visitors can have a great day.
The Lowcountry Strawberry Festival at Boone Hall Plantation took place this past weekend. This is a one weekend annual event. There is not an event the weekend of May 7-8-9.
I don't remember seeing any.

They are not allowed inside the Plantation Mansion or on the Plantation Tractor Tour unless they are a service animal. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a great day!
Boone Hall Plantation was used as "Mont Royal" in the iconic 1985 TV miniseries ":North and South' starring the late Patrick Swayze and numerous other legendary stars such as Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Mitchum, and others. It is worth noting that the TV ratings are still the 7th highest of all time for a TV miniseries.

Hi Emile...There is not a petting zoo at Boone Hall Plantation. We just finished one of our biggest special events of the year...the Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch...which featured a petting zoo. But there is not a petting zoo on the main property that is part of the tour experience at Boone Hall Plantation. There is a horse pasture that runs parallel to the Avenue of Oaks and stables on the property and the horses can be seen every day in that pasture. Thank you for the inquiry.
Since a majority of what we present is outdoors, there are various smoking areas that are at different places on the property where visitors can smoke. Ash trays are provided in those areas. Visitors cannot smoke inside any of our buildings.
Might be able to find a discount online that's about it
There is some walking but you would walk more if you go to Wal-Mart. All the walking is at your own pace.
