If a military or DoD rents a spot/or spots, of course the children get stay, so can the wife, and why not, that family sacrificed also.
Yes, that part is true, but that is what being "sponsored" by the military card holder refers to. Cabin rented by the cardholder for the person or persons staying. I take it you don't feel that civilians working on base, who have the credentials required for rentals, should be allowed to enjoy the facilities either? So that's the United States that the military sacrifices themselves for? The US Military draws paychecks from the US Government, in other words, the United States taxpayer. Short Stay, a military facility, used for vacations not training, owned and maintained by the US government......who? US TAXPAYERS So it's sad that I, a lowly taxpayer, could presume to think that I deserve a weekend relaxing if my friend, retired from the Army, or my brother, retired from the Navy, chose to sponsor me??? THAT is what's "sad but true". Intead of embracing each other, we've started separating ourselves, adopting childish, elitist attitudes...."You don't get to play with my toys!!!" SAD
They must be sponsored if they are there without card.
To be honest, I've seen this happen A LOT.....a person having a military/DoD card will rent a site for a non military/DoD card holder. Sad but true.
You have to have some sort of military ID or DOD card to rent any facility there.
Their are non military people camping there.
Devs husband Andrew is Army
