Yes you can start service online at www.berkeleyelectric.coop under “My Account.” Our drive thrus are also open to conduct normal business.

You can log into your Smarthub account and download a copy of your bill. Or contact your district office and they will be happy to help you 1-800-327-9615.

You are able to update your email address by logging into your Smarthub account. Once you have logged in go to the "My Profile" menu and you will see the option to "Update My Log-n Email or Password."

The biggest savings come from adjusting your thermostat settings since heating & cooling your home accounts for around 50% of your bill. We recommend setting your thermostat to 68 for heating and 78 for cooling. Each degree off of these settings could potentially increase your energy costs by 2-5% per degree.
