Is it better to park at the arena or take a shuttle from a local hotel?

There was parking right across the street. There's also a local restaurant that is across the street that rents out spots. Very easy to get to.

If the shuttle is free, take that. Depending on the event, parking is usually $10-20.

We paid for the parking mainly because $10 isnt really that much when you're already going to an event that cost you almost $200

$10 to park. I agree that if the shuttle is free to take it. You can't leave and park without paying again.

We park at the arena....but had friends that Uber'ed from the hotel. The parking is ample

I will pay the $10 parking, plus, if you decide you want to explore downtown area or just walk downtown you can do that after whatever event you were attending and almost all the parking are free after 6 pm downtown! Or if you want to stay and meet the hosts. The shuttles leave certain time. However, if you want go straight back to your hotel or whatever it's okay to use shuttle.

It depends, if you don't like getting caught up in Traffic Jams. Take the shuttle.... If you are ok with that & the fees then you can park at the arena.

We paid $10 for parking. It was not a huge deal considering how much was actually spent on the tickets. I honestly do not know about any other parking or shuttle options because drove from Charlotte to Greensboro.

I like to just park on the side streets across from the Coliseum. Then I just walk it's not far at all.
