Depending on how much time I have, sometimes I get on the Vienna bound train so I can get a seat, then I just stay on the train when it becomes the New Carrollton bound train and comes back to Dunn Loring. Only rarely does this not work...maybe 5% of the time the train goes out of service, but its still easier to get a seat at Vienna
There's typically seating available; however the carts nearest the escalator are more likely to fill up. The farther you walk down the platform the more likelihood you have of getting a seat.
Starts to fill up after 6:30 in direction of New Carrolton. Dunn Loring is only the 2nd stop, so it might not be completely full in that direction.
