What do I need to change my license plate from another state
I'm going through this atm -- you have 150 days max to change over your registration, at which time anyone in SC can report you. Changing is 2 stages -- 1. Pay your "Property Tax" at the county Tax Office. -- Office in County -- take your car registration and your (any state) driver's license info to them -- for comparison -- I have an older car that was evaluated (by them) at $2000. I paid $66'ish for this tax. -- York County -- 1070 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, 29732 2. Pay your licensing fees at dmv. -- You will need -- DL ("real id" doesn't reduce req's) -- Ownership papers for the vehicle (such as pink slip) -- the receipt from the property tax -- some kind of envelop with your current address in SC (they said ANY envelope addressed to you. a bill is probably better?) I have not completed step 2 yet, info not verified, cost unknown...?
What do I need to change my license plata is expire for another state, I move to soon for Fort Mill but only have the contract the new house y driver license the NC. could you change it with the contract?
I have lien on my car and the title is with them. I called them for a copy of title and I was told that SCDMV should send a letter to them. But in SCDMV told me that I should get the copy from them. What is the procedure?
