Sorry Peter... you are incorrect. Restaurants/Clubs that overserve alcohol ARE liable for damages AND any medical crisis expenses from alcohol poisoning.
Apparently personal responsibility no longer applies. I personally wouldn't serve an obvious drunk person, but look at all the drunks in bars and clubs. I guess bartenders need to babysit everyone now.
