Yes they do. Most dealers give you the dealer rather than the retail value of a trade in, which is significantly lower. However Huntington Honda is one of the largest volume dealers there is and you'll find their prices better than any other Honda dealer. Ask for A.K. He's the best salesman there. No nonsense, no haggle, no talk to manager games. He'll give you the best price up front. Especially if you mention me :-) (bought a bunch of cars and referred many friends and family there - his prices are always the best and most fair)

If the car you're trading in is several years old and not a Honda, it most likely won't be resold by the dealership. More likely than not, it'll wind up at the auction in Bayonne, New Jersey. If the car winds up there, it'll most likely bought just to be stipped to the bone for parts
