I never knew this place existed! Such a great place to discard electronic waste ans other recyclables. Tbey are very organized and there are personell around willing to give directions and information. If youre from nearby, please recyle here.
They're technically not recyclable. The casing is but the inner tape is not. You can bring them to the recycling center, ask for Chris and tell him Huddie sent you. I will make sure that it gets properly disposed of. Thank you for doing the right thing.

Your local area may have recycling days. Otherwise, yes, shredded paper is accepted.
If I live in Nassau County, can I bring my paint and turpentine, etc to this site to dispose of it?
Is there a fee and a limit as to how much?

They won't ask if you don't tell. No fees that I'm aware of, and I dump my used motor oil in their tank too.

How do you drop off old gasoline? Is there a container there to pour it into or do you have to leave the gas can you bring it in?

Bring your old gas to the office in the front building. I dispose of used lube oil in a tank next to the front building. I suspect they will be able to dump your old gas, and give you back your can.
The town changed what they will pick curbside. Basically no single use plastic. Can I drop that off here?

Doesn't look like it. But call them. The electronics are placed on a table before loading in a dumpster.

it varies time to time and it depends upon the material being recycle
They do take grass clippings. Leaves,twigs & branches get picked up by the sanitation crew on the yard waste schedule. Be sure to bundle branches and twigs according to height and weight requirements. See town calendar for info. Pick one up at your local library.
