Motel 6 allows dogs. There is some small areas for quick walks adjacent to the motel. There is a small park by the river ~1 mile from Motel 6. One exit southwest on 575 to the right toward downtown Canton, first right, follow through the industrial park to the end and there is a lovely state park filled with paths and activities for families and children. Homestead inn does not allow pets however the hotel 6 does allow animals.

One a few miles down past Riverstone plaza near the old hospital, but you can walk dog on a leash down the street to the subdivision by the motel. Nice walk by underground creek on sidewalks.
Did not notice a dog park; but Motel 6 provides a small area
