I visited Mamma Onesta’s for the first time on Father’s Day for a nice dinner after being recommended it countless times by a family member. If I could rate this place 6/5 I would. My party was greeted by Melanie, one of the owners, and she was the sweetest and nicest person ever! We had such a wonderful conversation, and she made it a point to connect with everyone. I also got to meet her dog Ernesto, and he made my heart melt! All of the staff were very nice, and made the whole experience even better. By far best and friendliest dining experience I’ve ever had, with the tastiest of food. Needless to say I will definitely be back.

Incredible find in downtown Canton. Lovely little, family run, Italian restaurant we ate at last night for a dinner with our business partners. Waitress was the best we have experienced in a long time! The owners came out to greet us and were so friendly and attentive to us having a wonderful experience. Food was awesome. Ambience was warm and comfortable. Service top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant for a night out whether it be for business or romantic date. Very nice full service bar in separate room.

First time in and will definitely not be the last. Family restaurant with incredibly hospitable owners. This place could hold its own in ANY major city and we have it right here in Canton. We ordered the Veal Marsala, Veal Piccata, Chicken Piccata, and Snapper Francese and everything was perfect.

Me and my sister came here and had antipasti, entrees, wine, dessert and even espresso and it was all SO GOOD. First, when we came in they told us they usually do reservations only on the weekends! So please keep that in mind if you want to go during the weekend. But they found seats for us at the bar and we love sitting there so that was fine with us. We ordered the escargot which was perfectly cooked and delicious, and the bruschetta. Both antipasti dishes were amazing. They have house made bread rolls that are some of the best rolls you will ever have! Next we ordered their special for the week which was a house made fresh ravioli stuffed with shrimp and lobster in a creamy sauce. The sauce was thick but not too thick and the ravioli were actually sizable too. Dessert was the perfect way to end the night: the caramel cheesecake was divine and they are known for their bread pudding so we HAD to try that and it was soft, delicious, balanced on flavor from every bite! (This one was made with chocolate dipped strawberries but I think they might change it up depending on the current menu/season). Lastly we had an espresso and overall were so happy and stuffed. The staff was friendly from very beginning to the very end! Johnny our bartender and server was a superstar. We will def be coming back here!

The tables are 6 feet apart, masks required. The staff wears them all the time. We wipe down tables, menus after use. We only bring shakers cheeses etc per request and clean after use. We constantly wash our hands and take extra care for the safety of our customers.
You can substitute any pasta for vegetables and they also have gluten free pasta.
Call and speak with the owner he will prepare a special dish for your needs just for you! He is a super nice person! Great place to eat!
They do have gift certificates, and you can call them in for other people.
