Seems like folks are trained to rip off the customer???definitely don't recommend this company I will drive 30 minutes to Moberly and get treated fairly with expert staff

I've been taking scrap there for years since back when it was owned by Hendren family. So, I have a lot of experience and understand different types of scrap. Recently on last 2 visits they have new crew at the non-ferrous area. These guys twice tried to rip me off by classifying a variety of different aluminum scrap as "dirty sheet" when I had extrusions and other much higher grade scrap. I had to firmly insist they gave me a fair price. What is up with that? It's almost like they've been trained by Advantage Metals to rip people off. The whole scrap metal industry has a somewhat shady reputation already so no need to be adding to it by attempting to screw your customers - many of whom tend to be of lower income and are trying hard to make a bit of extra cash to help their families. So, (dis)Advantage, step it up, do the right thing and train your crew to give fair price.
