NO! Do NOT swim here. The water is NOT clean at all. There is actually a dump miles away... I see lots of people allowing their dogs to Swim. Please don't!
If the park signage says no swimming, that should be respected - there are environmental reasons for it, not just safety. The rule is not there to be a wet blanket and take away from your fun.
