Very good swimming lake. The only thing is all the emergencies during the day, people should be more aware with their kids.

It's free entry at the moment for everyone....
The lakes typically get drained immediately after Labor Day. ..since the upper lake has been reopened with Splash Zone I'm not sure if this policy is changed in any way.
Yes
Yes they have basketball courts and yes you have to pay to access the lake..
Free.99 lol
Im not really sure. I dont remember seeing pets there. You may call them
The water from the lakes is moved through the sand bottom as a filter into the swimming area. The park has the water tested daily to ensure bacteria is safe level.
10:00 am, weather permitting.
Yes there are fish but you must have a license and it is Catch and Release.
Yes
It is $8 a person out of County
There are grills at the park but you can't have a fire on the dirt.
For burgen county residents for adult is $10 non resident adult $15. Children 6-17 is $6 regardless of residency 5&under free...there is a senior citizen fee but i dont remember...maybe $6 as well...and if you want to leave the lake and grab food they'll give you a wrist band so you can come back in without paying again...i went yesterday for the first time and had a blast
The Park is open year-round and swimming starts Memorial Day to Labor Day
If the lake isn't filled for Memorial Day weekend, it can only mean they're having some kind of problem with it.
