I was charged $236 for the exam visit, but you can bring the animal back in 24 hours after discharge with no fee. If you can go to a primary vet try that but if it's an emergency, you're in great hands here!! I hope your parakeet gets better soon!!
I know this hospital treats all types of animal pets - exotics as well. Not sure about pricing, but vet care can be costly. I brought an injured Robin into their hospital as an emergency Good Samaritan. They took the bird immediately and said they will treat, then release to a preserve.
If you can take your pet to your primary vet, do it! You'll save hundreds or even thousands of dollars. They are super expensive.
They'll charge you $126 up front to look at them and then add charges based on what the animal needs
