a very LONG BRIDGE with great uninstructive views of the Great south bay and fire island - awesome sunrise! the rails are see through so if you hate bridges this one feels very open and the lanes are right to the edge. 30+ years of crossing it and it still is a thrill to drive over. watch for debris on the sides at times.

I learned to waterski next to the southside. I think it's a good looking bridge if I do say so myself.

Hi there, there is any toll to this bridge, can any new Yorker go to Fire Island and enjoy the beach, or does i have to pay a non resident fee? thanks

No toll, it's $10 to park at fields 2-5
