I Try to get there about an hour before sunset. Just ask Google that time is, since it changes little every week as the seasons progress. Hth!
I believe it is sunset no matter what time of year. They usually start 30 min before by the wheelchair carpet entrance, near the single story bathroom.
It begins an hour before sunset and goes on after dark. Get there early, with your chair and blanket, and most importantly get .parking!
They warm up and mark up the circle when it is still light. Buth the real show starts when it is dark.
