If you're cognizant of the long line and want to get it over quick, anything that reduces labor. A plain bagel requires no spreading of cream cheese, no toasting, no added portions. However, that is not the reason to come to this place. You go here to enjoy a bagelesque sammich with awesome goodies added to it. So take your time, everyone else does. If you want the line to het shorter, you can always bring a good book. Read "50 Shade of Grey: The Screenplay" out loud. That'll cut the line real short.
Not much can be done at least the line moves fast. Only recommendation would be to know what you want by the time you get to the front.
Bring a book... it's worth the line. Before this I thought I didn't like bagels.
