Over 1hr wait on a Sunday to order (pre order on an app/website if you can!) but truly so yum! In particular the taste of the cream cheese and the salmon was supper nice. Was my 4th salmon cream cheese bagel in NY and this one holistically wins for sure

This was an experience! First time in New York and heard so much about Russ & Daughters. I ordered their classic bagel with lox - an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, toasted. They have so many other yummy looking things which you can order, but I stuck with just the bagel. Service was quick and the bagel was absolutely delicious.

The wait it long.. the quality is good. The prices are high.. lots of history.

Yes, we have gluten-free products! GF bagels, cream cheese, salads, smoked fish, caviar, herring, borscht, macaroons, chocolates, dried fruit, drinks--come on down!
Yes they do!
You can get great herring there at all times. However if you want to be informed of the herring festival I suggest you get on their website.
Yes, but check our website for updated hours: http://shop.russanddaughters.com/locations
They have genuine bialys and bagels. Not regular white bread shaped to look like them, as you'd find in a supermarket.
It's about $15. It is not the best on their list. We tried the pastrami style smoked salmon. We have been to Montreal and their classic bagels are way better
We don't offer table service (we're a shop), but there's a park across the street with benches and tables.
We plan on getting New Catch Holland Herring in the warmer weather. Follow us on Instagram (@russanddaughters) and you'll know when it drops!
I have to come. Thank you
They have them at the cafe.
I believe I seen vegetarian cream cheese
For the cafe on Orchard, depending on when you go, there can be hour-plus waits on the weekends. Avoid prime brunch time. For the deli on Houston, which is what you're inquiring about, the weekends have longer waits than weekdays but it's not egregious, just grab a number immediately upon entering. Order smoked salmon, Scottish or Nova lox are best.
We have both!
