I return my licence plate through the mail but i did not receive any confirmation that it was return what are the next steps do I have to take to find out if my licence plates were returned.

Stop into the dmv office and go to the information desk. Tell them your plate number and they can look it up on the computer then get a reciept.

I'm sure they've received it. They probably will take forever to send the notice to you. Just check with them for sure
