i Not my call.. its my son's apartmentthere are over 100 apartments within the complex, it'd cost them quite a pretty penny. update.. id not known of the pool when i visited nor had i used the pool, as it had been closed for over a year.
Why don't you politely explain to them that one of the main reasons you moved in there was for the pool. And that you're very upset about it not being open. And ask them if they can take off enough on the rent for you to pay to use a pool somewhere else, or maybe they could just pay for it themselves. Or they may even be able to work a deal with a place for free for you. Businesses trade stuff back and forth all the time. There's hotels that have pool memberships for instance. I would search around for places first. Then go ask them, and show them a list of places that have a pool you can pay to use. And see what they can do for you. It's worth a try. And be very clear to them, and follow through on it too, that you're only worried about your family. And that you're not discussing it with others at all. They will not pay for everyone without a fight. But maybe, for just you. They might give in and do it. It's not the same, but it's something right? Good luck.
