My car has an expired inspection sticker and a dead battery. Mechanic advised me to drive the car with a new battery before I have a new inspection or the car will fail the emission test. Can I get a temporary 10 day inspection sticker?

If you go to the inspection station and get failed for monitors not being set (new battery) they can issue you a 10 day at the inspection station.
