Hi I’m wondering if I can bring my dog with me to the Museum? She’s a little chihuahua and weights only 3 pounds. Doesn’t bark and I can definitely keep her inside my bag at all time.

I wouldn't unless it's absolutely necessary. It's very busy on weekends and most exhibits are interactive. The crowds would make your pet nervous. Also, you're likely to spend a few hours there.

They only allow service dogs, but if you keep her in your bag, they don't search bags (or at least they didn't search mine) so you could probably sneak her in if she's quiet.

I believe you could only allow service dogs at the premises

The place has a lot of darkness and some heavy flashing lights etc. I dont recall a service dog only sign but if she gets stressed at all in storms or crowded spaces i wouldnt take her.

I would imagine that you could if it's a service dog
