I just received a puppy/dog the ex owner stated he can not find the dog paperwork he said the dog has a chip but not activated how can i get the dog info to get her licensed and check by a vet?

You will have to get a letter from the past owner or have him call to state you are now the new owner.And will then be able to change the new info.that is affiliated with the dog.
