Not much. Only something by the back wall of the loft would help, like a wall fan cut in to the floor. This way you could circulate the hot air down to the living room. Ceiling fan by the slanted ceiling will interupt warm air raising in the center of the slanted wall and it would come up on the sides of slanted wall.
