Do I need tickets to view the Church during the day

Tickets are on sale right inside the entrance door!

I went last week and you need the ticket to do the tour, $12 dollars per person, students $8

I would check the website; I think you do need tickets. I first answered "No", then as I was leaving Google, I see a banner saying "Purchase Tickets".
