They had a decent selection in store so you can get a rough idea of the brand and style you like. I usually go try a bunch of stuff on then order online once I have a brand and style narrowed down.
Yes, however there is a MUCH bigger selection online and each store will have different inventory brand/style/size- especially childrens. Some stores have a few kids, tons of kids climb shoes or none. The best thing is learn about what you want in a shoe, then check your area. You can always buy online see if you like them and return if not, the return policy is great. If you have a problem w/ the shoe like stitching coming out and want to swap shoe entirely, they'll let you apply the cost of the original shoe to the new one. They do NOT resole here, you will need to send them out for that but get a good shoe and it can be resoled 4/5 times so spend the money on a good shoe, it's worth it
