Had inguinal hernia repair (bi lateral) at 6am this morning with Dr. Koller. Dr. Koller is an amazing Surgeon! It’s 1130 am (same day) and aside from the expected soreness, I feel great. My experience was perfect, both in his office and at University Surgical Center. The office/clinical staff were amazing as well. Huge Kudos to the entire team. Looked for a Doctor to repair my inguinal hernia after a extensive search and reading the reviews I chose Dr Koller at Winter Park Hernia Center.Living 2 hours away it was a risky choice with driving time involved.I can now say it was the right decision. The staff both office and medical staff were great Dr Koller was great .The surgery went off without a hitch I was home by 11:30 am The recovery was amazingly quick and virtually pain free .I would highly recommend Dr Koller Dr Leone his staff as well as the University Surgery Center a first class operation If needed I would avail my self of their excellent service again.Sam Ocala Fl.

Was over an hour late, barely examined me and told me that “ER doctors don’t know what they are talking about” while completely dismissing me and my symptoms. I would not recommend this practice unless you have an active hernia hanging out because an ER diagnosis of sliding hiatal hernia is apparently always wrong. If he was so certain based on location of pain and my symptoms why would the office even schedule the appointment for such an obvious non-hernia? I spent more time waiting for the credit card machine to process my copay than I did with the doctor.

Dr. Koller of Winter Park Hernia Center is a wonderful surgeon, as his support staff. He laparoscopically simultaneously repaired bi-lateral inguinal hernias 3 years ago at University Surgical Center and it went perfectly. I only needed Ibuprofen and was moving well after 3 days...normally after a week. He has a very easy demeanor which really helps ease things. My recommendation is don't hesitate to see Dr. Koller to have your hernia repair. PS I purposely waited the 3 years to give a prospective that is a few years out from surgery. When I needed my hernia repair, I was visiting many sites, reading many reviews and looking at youtube videos for a surgeon. Having now the benefit from hindsight of the successful outcome, I would not have hesitated as long as I did. Hope this info helps.
