No, the closest metro stations would be Rhode island Ave or New York Ave, then you would have to take a bus or Uber from the metro station... A third metro station option is Gallery place metro station, and then catch the B2 bus going in the direction of mt Rainer. Ask the bus driver to let you know what stop is closest to the Arboretum. I think the closest stop is R St NE, right off of bladgenburg Rd NE..once you get off the bus, walk about 1/2 down R St, to the Arboretum... you should bring water & maybe a snack. There is gift store/ food stand, but I'm not sure what food other than chips are offered. Have a great time.
Not convenient by metro
Not really. It is a long walk through a sketchy area. I think a bus would be more direct. Uber is best!
