Yes you can. However, you can not have moved into the unit prior to going to seek assistance. You also have to be a Howard County resident for the last 6 months and have to show proof. You will have to show proof that your monthly household exceeds your monthly rent. You also have to show proof of social security cards for the entire household, photo identification for the applicant. As long as you meet those qualifications you should be ok.
