Jaime I'm disabled and live up near this spot. If this is doable for you there are others spots about 5 or 6 miles further up the road and past Gold Hill. You can jump on Switzerland Trail and hike or drive it north or south. Keep going until you hit peak to peak hwy, turn south towards Ned and in just a short distance you can turn west and go down to Rainbow Lakes. Another gorgeous area you'd be able to hike I think

It is all free there's a parking space there. And there's no fee for the park. Parking is free as well.
