We hiked on September 22nd. It was pretty cold in the morning. Started the hike around 7.30am. It was not that long hike but pretty challenging. Very, very windy in upper level....but the views are spectacular! Well worth it!

Nice start elevation and great views. Trail is easy to moderate. If you also try for Breckenridge Peak right next door expect around 7.6-8 miles round trip; depending on where you turn around.

Beautiful trail with plenty of wildflowers, ground critters, and amazing views the wholeway up! Thebhike can be steep in spots, yet was worth the climb. The summit offers panoramic, 360 dgree views from Winter Park to RMNP to the Front Range, from Torreys Peak to Mount Massive and beyond!

Beautiful hike! Went in the morning on July 8, a few small snow drifts to walk through. Starts near a loud and busy highway, but the sight and sound of it fades as you hike. Moderately busy but less than on other Denver-area day hikes. Incredible views the whole way up, a moderate climb, mostly above the tree line. Gorgeous panorama at the top of this 13er, you feel like you’re at the top of the world.
