I visited this event center for a jazz concert. It's an amazing venue. It's clean & has a lot of cute restaurants and shopping near by.

We went to the July 4th festivities with The Fabulous Thunderbirds and the DJ Gen G. We always have fun as a family and have been coming up here for over 30 years. I met my wife in Winter Park and we have 4 boys. Super disappointed with what happened this year. The commercialization of everything was perplexing to say the least. They had a VIP section for the “real estate” company which we joked about. There was ZERO and I mean 0.00 mention of Independence Day. Last year was awesome and we sang songs and celebrated July 4th. This year was bizarre. It was like we landed in another country. The owners of “the real estate company” got up and introduced the Fabulous Thunderbirds. They were good if it was the 50’s or the 60’s but frankly just out of touch. Gen G was cool and the boys danced and had fun. People left wondering, “aren’t we going to celebrate Indpendance Day?” What a shame. I mean we commercialized the heck out of this thing and thanked the Real Estste company about 100 times but not one mention of what we were actually here for in the first place. Shame on the organizers and all the people responsible for this faux pas. Please don’t let this happen again.

This is a good visitors center. It’s only been open for a year and you can tell, but the staff is friendly and you can get some helpful info.

Yes
No idea, check the chamber web site.
About a half mile North of the event center on US 40 there is parking in the side of the road that tour busses usually use. You could probably park there. (Just before you get to Randy's)
VIP has chairs, you bring your own chairs for the rest of the seats. But they did have chairs for all seats this year.
There is a free garage not far away
I'm handicap also, they let in early access first then handicap and plus the handicap line is short and you still get excellent seats because you go before general admission
I actually stayed at the Best Western. It was comfortable and centrally located. The lobby was very utilitarian. Parking was adequate. Restaurants in the area are very pricey with poor service.
