I've been to many courts throughout Jax and beyond over the past 3 years. I've see more tennis instructors operating their businesses than pickleball. This new Jarboe Park is multi use and for those of all ages. It has gotten so much better than what it used to be. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. Maybe if you try it you might like it. Thank you Neptune Beach.

No problem with the sport of pickleball, Just should us stakeholders allow our civil servants to spend a lions share of our tax dollars on 8 premium courts for the elderly game? only around 100 of the 7500+or- residents of NB play pickleball. Shouldn't we have build more diverse sports elements for all ages? Maybe a pump track for bike and skate to keep kids entertained and off the dangerous streets? Maybe renovate the full size basketball court that sits in disrepair? Why would we want a 8 court BIG pickleball complex with lights and noise pollution operating at our little neighborhood park?
