I'm coming to NYC for my first time in a couple of weeks. Which observation deck should I visit if I only choose one? A: One World Observatory - Appears to have more features. B: Empire State Building Observatory - More famous & iconic.

I would choose A. I went to both last week and One world Observatory is so much better. Make sure you get the ipad also, and dont be scared to play around and be educated by the videos on the iPad pointing at each iconic landmark.

I've only been to One World Observatory but it was an awesome experience with tremendous views. Be certain to extend your experience with the interactive iPads that provide key facts and info about the various building and landmarks that you're viewing. We also really enjoyed lunch at the One World Observatory restaurant, very good food and reasonably priced.

Option A or in my opinion, a better option is the top of the rock.

I would personally chose One World Observatory. I went to both, and I had a better experience at WTC. The security was faster and the views were better. Because the Empire State Building has a smaller observation floor and because it has more visitors, the 86th floor was very cramped, making the opportunity for a view quite difficult.
