Hi Evelyn, thank you for reaching out. We do require bank account information at this time for our electronic payment process. The reason we ask for your bank account number is that we want to make sure your gym membership is never interrupted. It's far too easy (for us, at least) to lose a credit card, or simply have it expire on us. The last thing we want is to add to an already difficult situation by making you wait to make use of your gym service while you update your information, or see any additional charges accrue because of a payment issue. Having an EFT draft as a backup keeps you from seeing any of those charges or interruptions.
