More likely a shifted belt in one of the tires. Yes even a new tire can be defective based on how it was stored. Out of balance also... Even loose lugnuts... If problem not present before and after tires replaced these would be the three main culprits for wobbling
Even a new tire is sometimes not balanced properly, so I would check that first because it's simple and inexpensive. If that's not the problem it gets more complicated than simply an alignment which is rarely the problem unless there has been an accident with the vehicle or extreme driving conditions. It could be a warped brake rotor, and if you feel the wobble mostly when you are on the brakes, this is likely. It is possible to damage a rim easier than you think, especially aluminium rims, a sharp jarring pothole can crack or deform a rim. Also, possibly tie rod ends that need adjusting or new bushings can cause this. If your not experienced with car repairs you would need the tire shop to check balancing and rims, but a licensed mechanic is needed to check the other options. I hope this helps.
Your problem could also be caused by a bad wheel hub which discount tire will not be able to diagnose, but if the rim is out of round (slightly bent), belt in tire is off, or the initial balancing was done incorrectly they can diagnose that. If you hit a curb or something recently, it could be a number of things which can be difficult to narrow down, but an alignment MIGHT be able to diagnose is anything is wrong with the suspension. I'm going with bad wheel hub if the tires are fine...
I am sure the guys at Discount tires will take care of you. They are the experts so just make a trip down there and they will do the necessary checks and advise accordingly
I don't work there. But I have bought alot of tries. If you changed all four tires and its wobbly then you can get an alignment done which discount tire doesn't offer they are not cheap no matter where you get them done but it will help prolong the life of the tires. If it was only two tires the miss balance could be cause of that. But in most cases it's the alignment also you could check if all the lugs are bolted in properly. In any case wobbling is not good you should have it checked 🙂
