I can only speak for the Pep Boys in Gainesville fl. I do have a to-go mechanic however, i do utilize PepBoys due to its proximity to my home and have received professional work on my vehicle and friendly service from the personnel at the counter and shop.
I don't like the place they try to sell things I don't need . And I put backup camera and I had wires hanging evreware. I don't go there any more.
I have had my alternator and battery replaced and the alternator needed to be replaced again 1 week later. 9 months after the 2nd alternator i brought it to the dealer for a nother replacement. 6 months after that i need a new battery. I would not recommend this repair shop
I personally use dave mays auto repair of waldo road there a lil expensive but ive jad no repeats
