You can just walk in. If it's your first time just have your ID social security card and I think a piece of mail with your address on it. The first time you're there they'll do a physical which takes probably about 20 minutes... after that you're good to go.
I would not recommend going to the one in Tampa, what a awful terrible place all the way down to management
