I adopted a dog from Certified Preowned Dogs in July 2014. I met the rescuer at Animal House Pet store, her name was Andrea, I fell in love with Gizmo and paid the $250 adoption fee. She said he was up to date on his shots and had a clean health record but she forgot to bring his paperwork. She promised she would email them to me but after several calls back to her she has never responded. They promise a partial refund if you ask within 2 weeks but when I tried to call her back she never answered, I didn't want to give him back, I just wanted the health record. Now I'm going to have to take him to the vet and have him put through possibly unneeded shots and expense that I thought the $250 was for. My advice is get the paperwork before handing over your money!
