Not to be finicky, but, isn't the cat holding a cello on the sign there... Not gonna lie- I love the good vibes I'm getting from this place, I'm just curious why the cat is holding a different instrument than what the pub is named after?

Well glad you asked ;) The instrument that is being held is actually an Upright Bass, which is an type of fiddle. The character symbolizes the original proprietor, Kim Gardner, who was a bassist in the British rock invasion of the 60s. Very lively and interesting , just like Kim. Now Kim’s daughter, Eva Gardner, carries the torch and she is the bassist for Cher, P!nk, Gwen Stefani, and more. The pub is still family owned. Cheers!

Well the cat is holding an instrument in the manner of a cello but considering how small a cat is compared to a fiddle.....could be he's just holding the fiddle like a cello because of size 🙈
