Hello. I am looking for a place I can donate clothes and shoes. New/used. I do not want to take them to a Salvation Army because I do not want the people working there taking them for their selves or sell them. Please let me know if I can take it

Women In Transition doesn't accept clothing donations due to the size of the facility. WIT recommends reaching out to Our Closet, a program of Jewish Family and Children's Services, or Career Wardrobe. Both of these programs are WIT referrals for providing survivors with clothing. If you would prefer, Women Against Abuse does accept new (not used) clothing and bedding for their shelter residents. Their business office would be the right contact to reach out to.
