I saw a couple with their toddler the other day, they hiked Pig Pond trail to the picnic table and back, easy hike. Would be more interesting in Spring, the pond is dry as a bone this time of year.

If they don't mind walking/hiking, definitely. I recommend taking the Pig Pond trail. There's a picnic table under some trees at the top of the hill that overlooks the pond and the other side of the park, good goal marker if you want to do a short hike. Mind you, there's no garbage cans up there at that picnic table... Just bring a small trash bag handy if you decide to have a small picnic there and dump the bag into a garbage can at the entrance station. Hope the info helps!

Other than a picnic area by the parking lot, there aren't any activities for young children. They probably wouldn't be too happy hiking, and there is a lot of cow poo on the trails closest to the parking lot.
