The inside does. However the conservatory where the butterflies are held is kept at a tempature and humitity optimal for the butterflies. It is 80% humidity and 80 degrees to be a tropical rainforest, best times to go are early in the morning or call ahead of time and find out when the scool groups will not be there.
I'm the building and somewhat in the Butterfly conservatory. The conservatory is humidity and heat controlled. Even on a hot day in June, we enjoyed very nice temperatures while viewing the butterflies.
