If a dog in the neighborhood barks continuously at night until midnight and beyond sometimes...what can be done? We brought it to the owners and they rudely closed the door in our face... Thanks for the help.

Download a high quality recording of dogs barking. Make copies for all affected neighbors. Everyone make hotel reservations for the same night (preferably on a night b4 the offending neighbors must be up early). Make certain that the dog barking recording will "loop" and play ALL NIGHT LONG. All affected neighbors then open their windows, point their stereo speakers at the offending home owners, turn the barking sounds to a level barely before distortion, then go enjoy the evening at your hotel!

You can call the police department because there is a noise ordinance. The violators will be warned and then if it continues after that they will be cited for violation of the noise ordinance.
