Afternoons are usually not too busy. And after about 8pm. From 5 to 7 is best to call ahead and make a reservation. There is a really nice patio when the weather is good.
It's a tiny place for dining in. Reservations are highly recommended at any time. Especially on a day like Valentine's day.
Typically you should call and reserve for valentines day. They often have the tables scheduled out in blocks for the holiday.
